Low output

I have a notepad-8fx connected by USB to my computer to do podcasts. I have good signal from the two mic's but the output on the computer is extremely low. software and drivers are up to date. all volumes in settings throughout the computer are at full. even with gain and decibal on full on board the output is still low. Help!
