Ui24R multiple touch inputs

Hi, I'm considering diving into digital mixing via the Ui24R. I'm playing around with the web-based software demo http://www.soundcraft.com/ui24-software-demo/mixer.html on a ms surface pro 6 and I'm finding that I can only adjust one control at a time e.g. I can't bring one fader up and another fader down at the same time.
Is this a just limitation of the demo software? Does the actual app register multiple touches? Or is this possibly a limitation of my Surface Pro tablet?

    a-ha, it seems that it's the ms Edge browser that's not responding to multiple touches - the demo is working fine in Google Chrome.
