No Audio Playback from DAW (Ableton 9 Lite/Windows) back through to MTK12 via USB

I am 100% sure that sound from my pc recording should playback through to the MTK12. This thing is so beautiful and glorious looking, I just will not believe otherwise. I've read this forum and the manual - this must be some fundamental oversight on my part. Who out there knows what they're talking about?

  1. What is the correct Ableton/Windows sound output setting?
  2. What is the correct USB input setting on the MTK12?
