Notepad 5 with one speaker

Hello, I want to buy a Notepad 5 mixer for use in photo conferences - one microphone and a stereo input for sound from an external audio device. So notepad 5 is sufficient. But I only have one speaker, the Bose S1 Pro. It is also sufficient for my needs. I don't need two in stereo. But how can I connect the mixer to a mono speaker if notepad does not have the pan / bal option? The speaker box has two xlr inputs. Should I connect the master output to both channels of the speaker? Or is there another option? Thank you for your help.
