Overdubbing

Hello virtuoso knob twister and button pushers.
I’m seriously only a few questions from purchasing a UI24R for home recording. My only question now is regarding channel overdubbing or adding other tracks in real time to previously recorded tracks. Can the UI24R do this as a stand alone unit rather than using a DAW. Thanks

    Not really. The built in Multitrack recording to USB stick is designed as a simple "capture" not as a replacement to a DAW so you can't simultaneously playback from and record to the stick as you would when overdubbing. Obviously you could do this when using the Ui as an interface to a DAW
