Will USB 'PLAY' slot read a multitrack stick made on the 'REC' USB slot?

Trying to reverse-engineer a way to do overdubs by swapping sticks.. Feasible?

    No. Stereo playback only on Play slot. As you likely have figured out you can't do overdubs using Multitrack USB stick. Its intended to capture and then export to DAW for overdubs. (which i read in your other post you would like to avoid)
