SOUNDCRAFT 12 MTK: Can / Should I leave it on?

I heard about how power cycling and constricting and contracting the electricity within the components is bad, so leave it on, but I also heard about MTBF and how all electronics have them. Anyways, I want to know for the health and longevity of my unit, is it best to Unplug it when I sleep and plug in when I want to use ? Or should I keep it plugged in all the time?

    The eternal question.... There are tons of views on this... my view is if you are professional facility and are using the equipment- console, tape machine (now computer), Outboard stuff everyday then leave it on (assuming the equipment doesn't use vacuum tubes) On lower cost equipment and items that aren't used daily go ahead and turn them off.
