UI16 login problem

Hi , I'm just getting started with my UI16 , I wantend to change something on the network settings , first thing I had to do was login with the default password and user , so I changed it ,but I forgot to turn the UI off an on again .
Now I cannot enter the config menu again , both the the new and the default password are rejected ,
how do I solve that ?

    Probably need to reset the password. Create .txt file named masterpass and save this to USB stick with no additional files on it. Turn UI off and insert USB stick into mixer. Using paperclip or a small pointy item hold down the reset switch on the back of the unit and turn Ui on. Keep recessed switch held in for 10-15 seconds and then release. That should clear any passwords that were set

    Does this also remove all other settings, sceens, or presets? Or just the password ?
