Notepad 12FX - mono input into channel 11 only going out left channel of main mix

Hallo

I’ve plugged my effect back into the channel 11 input with a TS 6.3mm jack. I’m running my aux through a mono effect so I don’t need stereo. However I find that the signal only is present on the left channel, despite the yellow Bal knob being centred. Is this a known technical issue? Does it work mono for other users?
