Subgrouping on vi3000

What is the easiest way of doing subgrouping on vi3000. I want to send snare top and snare bottom to a Snare subgroup channel and route it to main LR. I also need to send the Snare subgroup to snare reverb.

    Pretty much same as any console- choose a group bus (or create one). Remove the snare top and bottom from the main mix and assign the Snare Subgroup to the main mix. The only issue here is that you can't send to an Aux from a Subgroup channel. However typically you would just use the aux sends from the channel to send to the Reverb. You could also use a VCA to control the snare top and bottom. This would allow overall fader level control to the subgroup and Aux Sends yet still allow you to patch a compressor or similar on the Audio Sub Group.
