Soundcraft Ui16 only recording clean signal - no eq or FX

We have just tried recording on to a USB stick with our new Soundcraft Ui16 but it’s only recording the unprocessed signal. Is there a setting we have missed that will allow us to record with eq and FX or is it just correct as is?

Hope someone can help. We’ve Googled it, You Tubed it and checked the manual but can’t find an answer.
