SI Performer DAW Drop-outs

in Soundcraft Mixing Consoles

I'm using a SI Performer 3 with Logic Pro via USB.
I have installed the latest firmware.
On an older Mac, it performs well most of the time but on newer Macs I get constant drop-outs.
Does anyone have any advice?
