My channel and gain metering LEDs (in the app) are no longer working

Been using my Ui24r for a few months. Works great, very happy. Today I was setting up some stereo IEM's for myself, plugged in a mic and a guitar. I was getting output via the stereo linked AUX outs assigned for the IEM's, but I noticed that on the channel and Gain views the led metering for level was not there. Some of the channels had little red x's but no led metering.

I'm no expert, so perhaps I have inadvertently changed some setting.

any idea whats happened ?
