Good question! However, I'm sure that this s/n doesn't contain a date code or something. If it does, it's probably pretty circumvoluted!
In the early days of Soundcraft consoles, we would appose a QC sticker on the underside panel of the console with the date of QC and the tech's initials.
I also think that at one time, consoles were issued with a date code on the s/n sticker.
Hi did you used to work on the Soundcraft consoles? I'm considering a Spirit 8 24 channel or a Series Two 24 channel, the versions that both have a meter bridge providing the LED indicator for each channel. Would be great to get a little insight on the best option for my needs if you could help me. Thanks
