ui24r usb not streaming after reconnection - rebooting console required

hi,

most of the time when unplugging a soundcraft from the usb port, the console gets in a weird state where, on replugging the device, the soundcard will appear again as an audio device, but streaming to it will produce no audio on the console.

all other features are working, but the only way to get back to streaming over usb to the console is rebooting it, which is not really an option when in use for other sources.

is this a known issue? the consoles is running firmware 3.3.8293, and the laptop is running macOS 12.4.
