Ui24r loss of gain after firmware update

Thanks to Covid, I hadn't used my Ui24r for a awhile. I had a panel discussion to mic and record recently, so I updated the firmware to 3.3. I don't know if it was related, but I had to have all the gains at maximum just to get the panelists heard in a small, quiet hall. Anyone else have a similar issue?
