Simultaneous multitrack recording on 2 x Ui24r?

in Soundcraft Mixing Consoles

Is it possible to link the multitrack recording of 2 cascaded Ui24r's?
the goal is to have a 40 track multitrack recording without any offset between those 2 devices.
in case it is not possible - what is the best practice to get around this missing functionality?
