Soundcraft ui 24r usb I/f disconnects

I just purchased a used ui24 and while testing to make sure everything works I found this to be an issue. The ui24 usb if disconnects after a few minutes and the only way to get it back is to reboot the mixer. Should I return this? Is it a firmware issue? Or is the mixer damaged? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I only have a few days to send it back.

    Do you mean that “USB IF” as the USB memory stick slots ?

    Or USB-DAW port?

    I have the same problem, but it can be working ok for some time and suddenly stops sending signal to the mixer, until reboot. I am using an iPad connected to USB usb i/f
