Getting my FX8 to record

I have been using the FX8 on my Windows 7 for awhile. Worked great. I got a new W11 computer, installed and reinstalled the drivers, and can't seem to get anything but a LOUD hum to come through. It doesn't stop until I delete the recorded file. Any thoughts? I've tried changing bit depth, etc. No luck. Hasn't worked on Audacity, Cool Edit pro, Reaper. Can't get my Audition 3.01 to run either on the new computer.
