Is my MTK12 on the way out? Flashing backlight on the FX board text

Hi all,
I have bought a MTK12 last year from Thomann. I love this board very much and have been using it almost daily for personal and Uni projects.
Today ( 2 months after the year warranty expiring) I have noticed the backlight on the "reverb" text stopped working. Couple of hours later, the backlight on "DLY/MOD" started flashing and getting dimmer and dimmer as well.
I have read about two caps on the PSU failing and busting the USB/Digital part of the mixer. Is this my faith?
I have an I/O power switch for the board so it was only running when I was using it.

I enjoy this board very much and I want to keep it long term - But these unstable backlights on the FX board makes me nervous.

By the looks of it I will be ordering some spare caps just in case - what do you think I should do?
