Hi everyone,
I'am currently working with an UI16 to combine 8 playback channels coming from an uTrack24 from Cymatic Audio and 4 mics.
With this, I can have separated in-ear mixes and a master output for our practice sessions.
As the uTrack24 is discontinued and as I want to be ready in case it broke, I was thinking about upgrading my UI16 to a UI24R to get the multichannel playback feature and more entries. The problem is I don't know if I can playback 8 tracks with the UI24R and at the same time use the other XLR inputs for our mics. I try to find the answer on the internet without success and there is no UI24R in shops next to me where I could try the feature.
Can someone tell me if it is possible?
Have a nice day!

Yes. It's a cinch.
Ui24R has 2track playback channel plus 26 channels available patching from analog inputs of 20 XLR, 2 RCA or internal digital USB multitrack playback or any of 32 tracks from a computer connected with USB cable. This patching is available to change for each channel vs each source one by one. Very matrix.
2track playback channel doesn't have any other purpose but those 26 channels ( named as CH1-24 and Line IN L,R ) are very flexible to patch.
You can try those functions in their demo mixer on the web.
