Cascade Connecting Errors

Hello everyone,

I’m having trouble cascading two Soundcraft UI24r consoles. Every time I try to connect them, I experience intermittent connectivity issues. The second console keeps displaying the message “Connecting,” and the link between the two seems unstable.

Has anyone encountered this issue or have any suggestions on how to resolve it? I’ve checked my cables and network configuration, but the problem persists.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I haven't hit any problems about the cascading.
I suggest you to check any connectivity one by one to detect the reason of the issue.

    Use a good condition cable.
    Stop the firewall application.
Check the connectivities by hitting ping.

Cascading shouldn't affect your ability to connect to the actual interface. You should be using a router to communicate with them in cascade mode, so make sure that your phone/tablet/computer is not trying to automatically change to a different network.

No. All inputs on the Ui mixers are mono. If you connect a stereo input source, you will likely end up with phase cancellation depending on what the source is.
