Ui24R does not recognize 3.5 firmware update file

I have downloaded the 3.5 firmware update file to a usb stick. It recognizes the stick and any other music files on the stick but the message asking if I want to do the firmware update does not appear. Current version on the unit is 3.4.8318-ui24.

    Do not unzip the zipped file of the firmware.
    Wait and be patient for 2 or 3 minutes after you inserted the USB stick.

    I disagree. I did not unzip the file. I waited for 10 minutes. Nothing happened.

    Sometimes as the browser's default settings, it might be unzipped automatically when it has been downloaded.
    Just I guessed so because his pendrive was recognized from the music player. It means the pendrive was formatted correctly and the unit detected. Internal USB wire seems well.

    As other factors, his pendrive was too big ( Soundcraft recommends less than 8GB ) and had many files inside ( Soundcraft recommends to put only a firmware file inside ). Although actually I could updated mine with 16GB pendrive has several music file inside, it was no problem.
