Hi,
in the Ui24r v3.3 firmware update procedure ( https://www.soundcraft.com/en/softwares/ui24r-firmware-update-v3-3 ) there is a point that I don't understand.
at point 3 there is:
"Ensure a client device is connected to the Ui mixer GUI."
What kind of client I have to connect to the mixer? Mixer, video, mouse and keyboard are not enough?
Thanks

PC, MAC, iPAD, iPhone, Android with Wi-Fi or Ethernet, or HDMI + USB, whatever OK.
ok, it must be connected to the internet.
thanks
Nonsense.
No need to connect to the internet while updating the firmware.
Although you need the internet when you get to download the firmware file from the official website.
You should save that file in your USB pendrive formatted for ui24R ( = FAT32 ) and boot up the unit with that pendrive in.
Wait patiently a minute ( or two minutes ).
The message "Are you gonna update" will be shown then you have to click the "YES" button in that message.
You have to connect to the unit to look at that message and click that button.
If you didn't connect to the unit, you can't look at the message and you can't click anything, right?.
That's only it.
To update the firmware on a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer, ensure you follow these steps for a smooth process. First, visit the official Soundcraft website to download the latest firmware file compatible with your Ui24R. Save the file onto a USB drive formatted to FAT32. Insert the USB drive into the Ui24R's USB port, power on the mixer, and navigate to the Settings menu via the web interface. Locate the Firmware Update option, select the file from the USB drive, and initiate the update. The mixer will reboot automatically upon completion. Always ensure the process is not interrupted to avoid potential system issues.
