Touchscreen for Ui24r

I'd like to buy a good size touch monitor with hdmi connection for my Ui24r. I've seen the posts about the connection issues and waiting for firmware updates. Has anyone found a touchscreen that actually works? I mean bought one and actually used it, not one just showing up on a list, or am I just missing those posts?
Also:
Is this issue just related to hdmi and usb connected monitors? I mean, any touchscreen should work fine if it's connected as a 2nd monitor for a laptop - right?🤞

    Yes, it's a touch-screen (HDMI and USB) issue. The issue is about drivers for the touchscreen part of the monitor. Those drivers have to exist in the ui24r firmware or the touchscreen part won't work.

    Any HDMI monitor with appropriate resolution should work if you don't need the touchscreen aspect. There are also ports for keyboard and mouse, so a touchscreen isn't absolutely necessary (but is much simpler and more ergonomic, obviously.)
