Multitrack recording on UI24r, how to boost individual or overall volume of each track?
We use a good fast USB stick to record for 2 track and Multitrack (MT) and we have great recording gain/volume for our 2 track recordings, but I simultaneously also recently started to record each song in MT. All MT tracks recorded fine, except for bass guitar, we do record our bass direct into the UI24r and its gain/volume is fine on the 2 track recording (and live in the PA) but virtually nonexistent on the MT bass track on the MT version, its barely audible. This sounds really dumb, but what affects the MT recording volume? Does the L and R output to PA effect it? Does the Master L and R slider affect it? Trying to understand why the 2 track levels are perfect but the bass (only the bass) on the MT is barely audible. Thank you in advance to any geniuses out there.

Multitrack records from AD converter directly.
So, only the preamp gain affects the recorded level.
Save a snapshot while recording.
It makes same situation as live playing when you replay the multitrack.
I guess your bass amp was sounding loud then the sound would be got to other microphones of drums and vocals. Live sounds and 2 track recording were enough with it but the single track of multi was actually low. And also line bass has much dynamic range then it needs compressor. This is same as studio recording. Bass track wave form would be usually partially very low because the peak comes so few times but it can hit the clip at that few time then the gain setting made sense. Just do it well by mixing down.
