Ui 16 Headphone Jack Not So Hot?

Is the Ui 16's headphone amp supposed to be less powerful/ loud than most other mixers?

I would not be surprised about this since there is the option to set the headphone jack's output as another Aux mix. A hot headphone amp might be too hot for the input of a downstream power amplifier or other processor.

If this is normal, others might find it helpful to pick up an inexpensive $15 headphone amp. This is essentially what I purchased so I'll have a chance to hear any soloed channels amidst the sound of a live gig.

When I tested the headphone out with my larger 4 channel headphone distribution amp I obtained adequate volume in my headphones but with annoying hiss. However it will work for soloing channels at live gigs.
