Ui24 Aux bus recording

I will be using the Ui24R for a conference where they have their own sound system for someone who is speaking and I have a band that I will mix using the Ui24R L,R, out to two of the sound system mixer channels. However, in addition to this, I need to record the person speaking. I was going to put a lavalier on the person speaking but I don't want that on the main L and R going to the sound system. So my thought was to just mute the person's channel and then bring it up on the Aux bus. What I need to know is this: Can I record just the Aux bus to the REC thumb drive. If so, how do I do the routing? I know this is a little complicated,but any help would be appreciated. Thank You!
