I have this issue as well. In other threads I found that it could be because the USB Powersupply is blown. I've checked the USB Ports while powered on and they supply 5.2V as expected. I've tried a fullreset.txt file as in the manual, to no avail. What else could one try?
Disconnect all cables and USB drive and patient 1 minute.
Only connect AC cable and turn on the power switch.
Watch the green lights blinking 15 - 30 seconds. It should be stopping by the blue light turns on.
If the green lights still continue blinking, blue light doesn't come, your unit is dropping in boot loop.
Possibly internal 5V fuse blown or CPU is heating up by less of thermal paste, as guessing.
By connecting much current device like HDD, SSD, or smartphone directly, 5V fuse would be blown.
Some of USB stick will also spend much current. Actually Ui24R's 5V supply is poor as the printing info tells incredible small numbers. I suggest you to use external powered USB hub before you blow the fuse.
It usually recover automatically because the fuse chip is auto-recovery type but sometimes it will be broken. It needs replacing with soldering.
Thermal paste is easy. It is same as self craft PC. Just replace the thermal paste what between the heatsink and CPU.
