Re: FILE_OPEN Error -14
There was an error in the code. A FILE_CLOSE was missing deep in the code..
I found it and fix that.
by the way it is easy to fix. If the handle is -14. I can close all handles by function FILE_CLOSE(Handle Numer 1-10)
Re: FILE_OPEN Error -14
I'm not aware that there is a way to check how much files currently are open.
You may have to keep track of it by yourself, tracking the file ID handler numbers you get by a FILE_OPEN(), that are needed as ID for any following FILE operations.
An idea may be to have an SINTEGER array,, where each array element represents the stats of a specific file. Assuming file XYZ.txt is tracked at position 3 of that array, any result of FILE operations related to that file are stored in element 3 of that array. If an element is >0, the corresponding File is currently in use. So before opening a new file, you may loop thru that array, checking of the elements are >0, and if found 10 values >0, you know that you currently can't open additional files.
Just interesting... why you need so much files open?
Re: How to connect to an AMX CP-3008 push button panel
I have installed the DCS software some while ago, but have no CP3000 controlpad. Can't remember if I had so set special parameters for installation on Win11.
It needs Bonjour, and the DCS software is designed for Win7, so you may have to install and/or launch it as administrator and in Win7 compatibility
When DCS software is started, in menu Tools -> Bonjour Preferences, you may have to enable Bonjour
I found the manual here:

Re: Logging into Enova DVX-3266 Error
Current issue I see with the 1.8.183 is that if doing an URL list entry by port 1320 (secured ICSP), and the URL List destination is not reachable or got lost, the master will reboot. As the URL list entries done by Studio are permanent, this may result in a boot loop... in evaluation with TS.
I must admit that by experience there are several 1.6 and 1.8 firmware releases that have different effects depending on what controller they are used... most solid over all NX based units seem to be 1.6.179 and 1.6.200, and v1.8.120
Re: Logging into Enova DVX-3266 Error
did this happen after updating the master fw? If yes, from what fw did you updated?
There is a change in the internal security database of the NX masters between v1.6 and v1.8, which requires to disable authentication before downgrading from 1.8 to 1.6. Upgrading from .6 to 1.8 should not give that problem, and even up/downgrading within the v1.8 line shouldn't be a problem.
Maybe for whatever reason the user database got damaged, and even the admin account lost the password.
Worst case a factory reset may be required, in this case by using the ID button (left of the LAN port).
While the manual tells about LED blink pattern and 10 seconds, I found that his is little more trickier.
If I need to do, I do it this way:
- Remove power (DVX: turn off power)
- Push and hold the ID button
- Connect power (DVX: turn on power)
- I counted to 15, then release ID
- The NX now should reboot few seconds later, and should come back with factory reset (DHCP, empty program, and also default admin password)
If not working on first attempt, try again with holding the button a few seconds longer
