Where's the update for : PCM Native Reverb Plug-in Bundle

So... it's August 2024. 3 years still no update, even after support stated a number times already (past due the date of their claim). This is seriously disrespectful to all whom have purchased these plugs. Perhaps in the future we should just use "cracks" instead of supporting a company who disrespects its clients? Pathetic.

Can we have our money back
  • Hello!
I understand your frustration. Waiting for updates, especially when they are repeatedly delayed, can be incredibly disappointing. It sounds like you’ve been very patient, and it’s unfortunate that the company hasn’t met its commitments.

Using “cracks” or unauthorized methods can be tempting, but it also comes with risks, such as security vulnerabilities and potential legal issues. It might be more effective to continue voicing your concerns through official channels or consider alternative products from companies with better support records. Tell The Bell

  • I don't know why that sounds like an AI. LOL

Last plug was update: Dec 15th 2021. And Oct 2024, there's still no update, and 1 year later from last October 2023, Lexicon support said an update would be coming at the top of the year. Apparently, there's no update coming from them; and we have all been taken advantage of with tall tales (sounds like a Trump campaign) and they even admitted to recognised bugs in the last release. This is really disrespectful.

Geez... MUST THERE BE $%^&* POLITICS INSERTED EVERYWHERE??!!! It's funny how obsessed some people are with Trump and they just can't help themselves and have to inject their politics into everything.

this is driving me crazy!!! where is the update??!! we are going ahead to the 2025 first quarter, we now should have an update of what should have been released in the first quarter of 2024.

The best way is to wright reviews from where ever you have bought this software to aware people not to buy the product until lexicon make there move and publish the update. what do you think?

Are they going to surprise us by releasing it on Halloween?

    Adding one more here.
Cubase 14 is now out and they officially stopped VST2 support with this version.
It is high time the PCM bundle gets a VST3 update. Those plugins are vital in my production workflow.

It is a pretty standard change. How can this take so long?
  • Cubase 14 still supports VST2 plugins although it is not enabled by default. You need to manually enable VST2 support. That doesn't excuse the long wait on these VST3 versions though.

Yeah, I know that you can still have it include the VST2 scan, but it is clearly stated that as of this version, VST2 is out of the official product support.
So maybe it runs flawlessly but maybe it will keep acting up as we progress, I simply feel better not running on deprecated setups.

BTW… after an initial couple of hours of testing, I am already encountering hard errors in Cubase 14 specifically related to the PCM plugins that I‘ve never seen before (something about PCM plugins unable to run due to missing track encryptors) 🫤
  • LexChamber is always causing Logic to give me the error "An Audio Unit plug-in reported a problem which might cause the system to become unstable Please quit and restart Logic Pro".

I am having better luck with LexHall and LexPlate on these old versions.

    Please, release the updates soon.

  • I can't run PCM Random Hall in Cubase 14 despite manually enabling VST2 plugins. Any interaction with the GUI and Cubase just crashes. Please please consider your loyal customer base and release these updates.

  • it's really time!!

I would guess the only way to do this would be to launch Cubase 14 in Rosetta? But then again, who wants to have to do that? I'm fortunate in that the AU versions seem to be working okay in Digital Performer.

I know the majority of those on the forums are seeking Mac updates, but part of the reason that the process has taken so long is that Windows + iLok updates are happening at the same time and everything involve more than just making them compatible with the latest OS versions. They will not be released until both are ready, but I can at least say that both have been in testing states with me, so hopefully not much longer. Hang in there!

Sorry, if this reason is true. You mean to say, over almost 3 years!!! Yes, 3 years! Lexicon has not sorted out how to fix this issue. Meanwhile, every other vst plugin company seems to be adjusting just fine. I feel we are just getting dragged along with multiple excuses. A year ago, it was said the update will be ready in a few months. A year has passed and still no update. PLEASE Provide the contact information for the sales department. I want a refund. This is really disrespectful and pathetic.

  • Given the length of time since the last update, and particularly for mac users needing support for Apple Silicon, is there really much benefit in making M series mac users wait for Windows compatibility? Is a public beta out of the question?
  • I remember reading that this update was also going to switch from iLok to their own in-house copy protection, and don't know if that is accounting for some of the delay as well? Either way, if I were using a DAW that did not use AU (and thus not require launching my DAW in Rosetta), I'd be much more upset by now. I said elsewhere that it's sad to see a brand name like Lexicon that has such great history and was once much-revered and respected so tarnished as of late.

Oh no, please tell me this isn't CodeMeter. CodeMeter is a terrible licensing solution, on some systems it has some kind of conflict that breaks Windows 11 from being able to install updates. Some vendors moved to CodeMeter and are having to move back due to customer complaints.

It didn't seem like that was the case, but something in-house that Lexicon was going to develop?

  • I also am unable to use my PCM reverb bundle on Cubase 14, since VST2 support discontinued. Would it be possible to email me also please when the new updates are released?..

If you manually enable VST2 plugins in Plugin Manager, I think you can still use it.

  • Yes, VST3 is coming. The reason they can't come without Windows is because of new iLok implementation that's universal. We can't turn on specific features without doing so for all licenses, thus Windows users would be without functionality while Mac users would not.

As a Mac user, I'm completely okay with that! :D
